der Manni kommt ja erst JETZT auf den Geschmack...
stutzig macht mich allerdings, dass auf dem Foto WEDER Holzfäller- NOCH Hawaii-Hemd zu sehen sind.

My first car, a 1967 Dodge Dart, bought in 1973 for $550. It had the 318 cid engine and it was a fun car, up until I totaled it in 1978. I've owned nicer cars since then but I still miss it. Then one day in 2016, it showed up in my morning newspaper, in a photo commemorating the grand opening of a local store 40 years earlier. My car just happened to be in the photo taken at the time! (I don't remember if I was in the store for the grand opening or not. I may have parked there to go to the headshop around the corner.) I'm positive it's mine from the after-market silver locking gas cap which I installed after somebody siphoned my gas not long after I got the car and the fact that I never saw another one around town like it. I was glad I read the paper that day.

As times go on, we all change, but some things just never change. Same guy, same car, same picture, just 45 years later. I bought this car new in May, 1971. We’ve had lots of good times together. It has been a joy in my life. Street, many years of drag racing, now back on the street again. I’m living a dream that could not have happened without the support of my wife.
The first picture was taken November 1971.
Second picture was taken October 2016.
